I am not a veteran, but my brother was in the Marine Corps, and he is no longer with us, not due to combat-related injuries. The MILITARY and USA needs to take care of their own ā those who have given more than any of us can ever repay to them. More programs need to be available AT NO COST to any serviceman or woman that served FOR ANY amount of time. Military chaplains and veterans should be encouraged to become counselors for their fellow soldiers ā if they choose to continue, training programs should be free. This way, there would be someone that could relate (or that vets feel they could relate to). Costs should be covered by reclaiming the funds so many of our politicians squandered.
