I'm am an atheist, so when I see all these people fighting over fairy tales and arbitrary lines drawn in the sand, I realize how far the world is from being able to focus on global issues and the development of the basic and simple understanding that we are all human first, Earthlings, if you will, and any further adjectives describing where you're from or what you believe in are unnecessary and irrelevant. This conflict, and the entire Middle East, is just a boiled down and concentrated example of how religion is evil and detrimental to mankind.
