Redcat International Children’s Film Festival
The newly opened Asia Society Texas Center (1370 Southmore Blvd.) will present the Redcat International Children’s Film Festival on Wednesday, July 18 at 1 pm. The Asia Society press release promises the viewer will “be transported to an enchanted, animated animal kingdom to explore the worlds of a loveable array of critters, varmints, and other furry and feathered creatures.” Each Wednesday for the next six weeks will feature a different thematic line-up.
The films shown this week include:

- Frog, Rabbit and the Red Telephone. Dir: Alla Churikova, Germany .
- Hoggie & Snip. Dir: Magnus Hjerpe, Canada .
- Walkin’ On Snow Grass. Dir: Makiko Sukikara, Japan.
- Who’s There? Dir: Vanda Raymanova, Slovakia .
- According to the Birds. Dir: Linde Faas, The Netherlands .
- Amazonia. Dir: Sam Chen, USA.
