It’s that time of the week again. This week, FPH’s graphic designer took over our Spotify and served up a very eclectic mix of tracks that, somehow, seems to flow. Whether it’s Ministry or Electric Light Orchestra, there’s something for everyone. However, my favorite is the intro, Shyne’s “Dear America,” a spoken word piece that the artist made for us to hear about his experiences. Speaking on the track, Hohl commented: “Shyne’s “Dear America” intro to his s/t album he released on Bad Boy years ago is so fucking raw and just as relevant today as it was back when the album came out. Consequently, he ended up cracking shots off in a club when Puffy and J. Lo took him out to celebrate the album, and ended grazing some womans face and got nine years in prison and deportation back to Belize. *shrug emoji* great album nonetheless.”

The rest of the playlist alternates between genres, something that Shelby has been known for at the FPH office. “The rest of the tracks on this playlist are songs that represent some intense moments in my life and kinda like how when you write down a dream, when you read it back later, you remember every detail of the dream like you’re back in it,” Hohl replied. “These songs all do that for me. Anyway, play this shit loud. Enjoy.”

This list is really different — it’s really weird — and it’s really good. See you next week.
