the los angeles mission is similar…they have all of these rules and you must attend church before being able to eat…their electronic billboards say they are there for you and if you just need a hug stop by, but the people they give authority to are very hard as*es…the guy who runs it said they were mean to him in the military and he felt that it helped him so this is how he wants the mission to treat the homeless. I’ve never been to star of hope shelter, but i’ve talked to one homeless who said that it was too structured, you have to be back at 4:00pm and then you have to line up at 7am to get your ticket for that night.

Where do I start,,, hmmm.
1st off this place is ran like a prison,

Secondly they act like they worry when they don’t give two pennies,, I habe lived here for a little bit and it’s like when the boards come around they treat these people on the inside like they really care for them, then when it’s the normal Ole people who always here, they talking to you like you their child, and just totally disrespecting you ask your worker for help just to have the worker constantly dodge you instead of help you, they get paid off the homeless to live off in these rooms, the money they getting paid should go towards helping folks get in houses, instead of giving them chores and whatever the case maybe when they get paid 1000 dollars for adults a piece and up to 1500 for kids a piece, all that money and no darn help, so now all the female families or getting together and putting together a petition because within at least two weeks these families should be in there home or apartment, they sitting on funding instead of helping families get into their homes so others that’s out there homeless can have shelter, they washing is off, the only thing on point is the clinic, I would think twice before coming here again, how you threaten to put the homeless out, let’s not forget they was homeless before they seeker this place as a shelter, so putting them out won’t hurt them but will be on your consciousness, they always wanna talk about God this and that, God won’t put you out in the rain either unless you disobeyed, not because you slept two minutes late or accidentally left a towel in the shower or whatever. If a person is on housing why not pull strings letting these people know they homeless the next step to improving their living, no one wants to live in a shelter all their life. Salavation army is better then this place

put a target on my forehead … in the middle of … could of woulda ville … drove a women looking desperate round the corner… to timbuck2land a few months back … she was denied access to SofH … and had to get back (late@night) to her gear to a much more benevolent denny's like restaurant in Katy… her saga seemed sincere …. what is unclear … the perimeters / entry password … into SofH …. I agree that the Star is Following Fabulous Fath-ing Thang ….requiring a structured environment …. Yet … is there a 1.2.3. keys to the kingdom give em a chance how do i do it, can i do it, before i spend all my resources to get there …. available instructions … 4 the Clients in Need …. and 2 me on the parameter, who visit with those on the edge.
