I’ve done a handful of interviews where I’ve hung up the phone or turned off the computer and immediately wondered why in the hell the interviewee bothered to agree to talk to me in the first place, when they obviously didn’t give a crap about it. It always, always, always sucks, especially when I’m talking with somebody whose music I admire. Journalists are people too, dammit.
