I enjoyed all of the articles…all except the article about the people holding signs. It was poorly written and didn’t seem to fit into the same category as the other articles. However, I will not bad mouth the author, because I did enjoy the article about Bellaire, especially due to the fact that I really can relate to it. I live right by the “sign holders,” and the girl with the “Will Rap 4 Weed” sign made me laugh on several occasions. Best sign ever…however last time I did see her a cop was harrassing her…hope she is ok.

How dare you make such comments about Miss America? Not only did you misspell “guards-woman,” you completely nullified all previous statements about ending racism in Houston. This is a terrible representation of our city. I’m ashamed that you would think it’s completely alright to say things like that about a fellow American woman who worked hard to achieve her dream. (Key word: American) If you haven’t noticed, this country is made up of countless races and backgrounds, and it is completely against everything our nation (and even our city) stands for to bash someone based on their skin color. I’m disgusted and embarrassed, and I sincerely hope you remove such statements about her.
