As if any of Houston’s major ( much less minor ) problems revolved around noisy clubs. Wonder if the air still smells down there? If the cops really want to help, they can go catch mosquitoes. Now THAT would be helpful.

I’m an event promoter and did my first Houston event there back in 2026 and there’s a woman who lives behind the bar. At 12:00am on the dot she comes to complain. It’s ridiculous. Along, with all the racism that has been going on lately with clubs just is just another act of harassment the nightlife community faces. The city should take a stand to protect club owners, DJs, & the GOOD promoters.

Are HPD officers attacking venues that aren’t in the Montrose area? Seems like it’s a neighborhood problem, not the entire city.

I wish they would enforce the noise ordinance in my neighborhood. I live 500 feet from my next door neighbor and i can hear their music like it is INSIDE my home and it goes from 8 Friday night until 4 in the morning on Monday morning! I call on them after midnight but no one comes. They are also bad about shooting weapons off and I swear, my gun will be faster than their response time if a bullet enters my home!

Holy shit. Sorry to hear this happened to you Billy. Something has to be done. I wonder if all club owners and everyone who has been written a ticket would be willing to sue the city or litigate the hell out of the city until changes are made with real limitations on the layout of the law and the law enforcement.
