Is an incredible shame that the only safe place in the Heights is the Valero on Studewood and our “brave ones” spend their time shooting house pets vs. catching the shit that continues to pillage our streets on a more repetitive basis. Should the story be accurate(I know the “seven officers standing around in the yard” is from first hand experience) then these assclowns should be punished to the 100th degree. Sadly, the system is screwed and a nice animals life is apparently worth a lot less than those who prey on our homes, friends and property. Sad sad sad.. If the story has been told in a misleading way, then the officers should tell their side. Doubtful..

Had that been my animal, that would have been one very different press article as I wouldn’t have been so nice.

To the two officers who felt this was justified, you should Go fuck yourselves you chicken shit bastards.. You clearly suck ass and are a part of the problem, not the solution and now have labeled all the good eggs as assholes.

I suspect that the number is very high. Perhaps, with pressure from the media and the public, HPD may take a look at how they train their cadets to handle dogs that appear aggressive. There are less lethal options available that would prevent this from happening to another family. God Bless.
