August 9th and 10th: Houston Whatever Fest


Houston Whatever Fest, a two-day, multi-genre music and comedy festival taking place in the heart of the East End of Downtown, features more than 70 artists on 5 stages on August 9 &10.  The inaugural festival will be the ultimate EaDo Block Party showcasing a range of performers along with local food trucks and vendors inside a footprint encompassing Warehouse Live, Lucky’s Pub, Little Woodrow’s, Mojeaux and the EaDo Party Park, the area located behind Lucky’s Pub, adjacent to BBVA Compass Stadium.  

Catch performances from: Mute Math, Passion Pit, Filter, Neon Indian, Blonde Redhead, The Hold Steady, Kreayshawn, Rebirth Brass Band, Andrew WK, The Dwarves, The Queers, Trust and Helmet along with comedy performances from TJ Miller, Bobcat Goldthwait, Iliza Shlesinger, Sam Demaris, Bob Biggerstaff and more.  For a complete list of performers, click here.

A portion of proceeds will benefit the D.A.W.G. Foundation, a Houston-based non-profit group devoted to training and connecting service dogs with Veterans battling PTSD.

Houston Whatever Fest is presented by Budweiser, Houston Press, CW39, Blackhorse Limo, Warehouse Live & Lucky’s Pub.

$150 Who Dat? You Dat! VIP package presented by Blackhorse Limo includes two-day admission with access to VIP covered, shaded viewing areas with misting fans, access to a full bar and complimentary beverages in select locations, HWF T-shirt and HWF commemorative hard-stock poster.  Single day tickets are just $35 or $55 general admission weekend passes.  Gates open daily at 12 p.m.  Rain or Shine event.  To purchase tickets, click here.
