YouTube Preview Image    I once described this band as plastic ice topped off with 500 grit sand paper.  Although to some people this would not make any sense, but to my friend who is infactuated with this band as much as I am knew exactly what I was talking about. Sleigh Bells is a two piece band from Florida. A cutie for a singer and a mad scientist behind the instruments. She being the plastic ice and he being the sand paper. Every song they write creates an earworm. Their music is fun, dancy, and electric. They’re playing this Friday with Houston’s new favorite LCD Soundsystem. Perhaps you heard about LCD’s song “Home” has found it’s home in Houston when the music video for it was shot a few months ago by Funwunce. The music video is a short story of a man building a robot. The robot becomes alive and lurks Houston’s party scene.  If at all the show this Friday comes close enough to what the party in the video had to offer then you are in for a treat.
