Day for Night FAQ: Björk, Ticketing + more

Featuring world-renowned performers like Aphex Twin, Björk, ODESZA, Kaskade, Travis Scott and more, as well as impressive digital installations, the remarkable offerings at Day for Night are drawing attendees from across the globe and 75 percent of ticket sales so far have been purchased by people living outside of Houston. You guys have been asking questions about Day for Night so we compiled a list of FAQ’s to let you know exactly what you can expect in December.

Will Björk be performing on site?

Day for Night will not only feature more than 35,000 square feet of Björk’s immersive digital art exhibition — which has toured a short list of international locations like London, Sydney, Tokyo and now Houston — but the multi-disciplinary artist will in fact be performing live electronic sets in person, both at the Friday night Preview Party as well as during the festival.

Will tickets be available at the gate?

It’s possible, but tickets are going fast and mostly to buyers outside of Houston. We highly recommend that you buy your tickets now.

Will you be able to upgrade a General Admission presale ticket to General Admission plus the Friday night Preview Party?

Please email ticketing@dayfornight.io with the subject “Upgrade” if you would like to add the Friday night party to your ticket. You must include your original order number in the email. Be sure to decide as soon as possible as there are limited number of tickets to the Friday night Preview Party. After upgrading, our ticketing team will respond to you with a unique code that will only be associated with your individual email address.

Are you going to feature a Groupon offer for tickets?

Sorry, this year we are not offering tickets on Groupon.

I saw tickets for sale from third party retailers. Is it safe to buy from them?

Third party retailers more than often sell their tickets at high mark ups. Sometimes they are even counterfeit. We recommend not messing with them.

What times does the festival run each day?

Friday, December 16, 2024 – 7 pm to 2 am
Saturday, December 17, 2024 – 2 pm to 2 am
Sunday, December 18, 2024 – 2 pm to 2 am

The festival will take place rain or shine, unless otherwise posted.

Can I volunteer at Day for Night?

We will launch the Day for Night 2024 Volunteer Program in early November. Please stay tuned to our social media channels for more information about the festival, including volunteer opportunities.

Is this an all ages event?

Day for Night is an all ages event but no children under 10 years old.

Will refunds be available for tickets?

No, refunds will not be available.

Is it allowed to resell your tickets if you can’t attend the event?

We recommend that you only resell tickets within your group of friends as the tickets will be associated with your name. Additionally, the only way you can sell your ticket is once you have already received your wristband.
