Space City Con 2024 is upon us. It’s time to unleash your wildest nerd fantasies on Houston. If you are a fan of Doctor Who, comic books, Star Trek or Star Wars, video games, or science fiction of any kind, you should spend your weekend visiting the Space City Con.
“Space City Con is an all-ages festival of comics, sci-fi, fantasy, gaming, literature, and art, in the spirit of Houston, Texas! Envisioned as a “geek festival with free parking,” their goal is to put on the best convention possible for current generations of fans, and instill a love of comics, Sci-fi and fantasy in the next generation.”
The line up for this thing is huge! Jason David Frank and Steve Cardenas, formerly the Green and Red Power Rangers, respectively, along with Paul Schrier (Bulk of Bulk and Skull) and Steve Adreno (of Power Rangers fame as well), will be in attendance. There will be a slew of Star Trek and Star Gate veterans like Tim Russ, Robert Picardo, Walter Koenig, Denise Crosby, Robert O’Reilly, Don Marshall, and Rick Fitts.
The list goes on and on, and it’s safe to say theres going to be something for sci-fi fan in town. SCC is conveniently located at the Westchase Marriott conference hotel,August 2 - 4, 2024. Tickets range from $16 for kids, $35 for students, and $45 for adults.You can get a one day pass on Friday for $20, $35 for Saturday, and $25 for Sunday. You can buy just a gaming pass for $35 for the whole weekend. The event begins noon today and goes until 7pm, and starts Saturday and Sunday at 10am lasts until 7pm.
