MFAH screens family fare
The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston will screen family films on Wednesday mornings (11 am.) throughout the summer. On one hand these are all excellent titles that will attract more than just kids, but they also skew the young at heart. Perhaps the best part is the chance to see an actual 1960s era Disney film on the big screen. I’m referring to The Parent Trap from 1961 with Hayley Mills playing twins. Other highlights include Wes Anderson’s delightful Fantastic Mr. Fox and the satiric Bugsy Malone.
Admission is free with museum admission or free to the museum’s Film Buffs patron group.
