Since 1984, Lawndale Art Center’s “The Big Show” has provided a juried forum for new and underexposed Houston artists to display their work and gain more recognition. There were over nine hundred submissions this year alone and 114 works by 85 artists will be put up at an exhibition from July 9th to August 7th. There will be an opening reception on Friday from 6:30 to 8:30. Come see the Houstonian artists of tomorrow.
