Local Track of the Week: Sex, Drugs, & Rock and Roll

This track is by local rap duo Hero & Rad and it really blew me away the first time I heard it. Last week Hero & Rad played an intimate show at Walter’s and opened with “Sex, Drugs, & Rock and Roll” which explores the perils of fame, fortune, and living life in the fast lane. The refrain is insightful and punchy and the beats are infectious. “Sex, drugs, and rock and roll, if you don’t watch out you could lose your soul.” Brilliant stuff. It’s off their latest album, Resilience.
