In an unexpected move, Mayor of Montrose Chris Hutto quickly passed landmark legislation legalizing Cannabis throughout Montrose. Some are criticizing this move as a ‘behind closed doors’ attempt to counter his falling approval rating and surreptitiously tax the product. Nonetheless, when questioned as to whether this is political posturing or a legitimate progressive move, Hutto is quoted as saying ” One more Old Speckled Hen please! Can I park my car at Catbird’s tonight?”
